Immersive learning and personal development
Understand the experience before you decide to enter it.
Explore two distinct workshop pathways facilitated by Dr. Rosemarie Johnson. NLP is open to interested adults who meet the offer requirements. Mental Emotional Release involves deeper emotional work and begins with a suitability review.
Plain-language orientation
NLP and MER are connected — but they are not the same experience
Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP, explores patterns in language, attention, behaviour and personal experience. In a structured workshop, participants learn and practise techniques intended to support awareness, communication and intentional change.
Mental Emotional Release, or MER, is a more intensive experience involving guided engagement with emotional patterns. Because the work may feel deeper and more demanding, participation is not offered through open payment alone. A suitability conversation comes first.

Intended outcomes
Educational and personal-development aims — stated honestly
Depending on the approved workshop, participants may develop greater awareness of patterns, practise new communication or self-reflection tools and identify intentional next steps. Outcomes are educational and personal-development aims — not promises of cure, therapy, licensure or guaranteed change.
What participation involves
- Clear explanation and demonstration
- Guided exercises and reflection
- Interaction with the facilitator and, where relevant, other participants
- Active participation within the stated boundaries
- Preparation, breaks and the ability to pause or opt out as explained at the start
- Use of the agreed support route if the experience raises a concern
When a workshop may not be appropriate
NLP and MER workshops are not designed for crisis care, emergency support or treatment of a mental-health condition. MER in particular requires a suitability review. If your primary need is psychological care, or if participation could place you or others at risk, a different route may be more appropriate.
Education versus therapy
Participation does not create a psychological treatment relationship. Workshop exercises may be personal, but the service remains a bounded learning or personal-development experience. Do not submit clinical history, health records or detailed personal narratives through the public enquiry form.
Credentials and certification
Dr. Johnson brings psychology experience, facilitation skill and relevant NLP and MER training to these workshops. An NLP or MER workshop record is distinct from a CE/CPD participation record and does not by itself confer therapy status, statutory licensure or universal professional recognition.
Workshop FAQ
Questions people ask before deciding
Is NLP open to people who are not psychologists?
Yes. The approved NLP workshop is open to interested adults, subject to the specific participation requirements and availability shown on the offer page.
Why does MER require a suitability review?
MER involves deeper emotional work. The review helps clarify expectations, appropriateness and safeguards before a place or payment route is offered.
Is this therapy?
No. The workshops do not create a therapy or clinical relationship.
Will I receive a certificate?
Only the exact record and issuer stated for each workshop apply. Final details are approved before registration opens.
What if I am unsure which route fits?
Send a short practical question without including sensitive health or personal history.
